Dan Fox is a comedian and slow tech evangelist based in Brooklyn, NY. He currently hosts & produces the monthly comedy show 100% at Pete’s Candy Store in Williamsburg and co-hosts the Great Pupkin Dog Costume Contest, an annual event that draws thousands of spectators to Brooklyn’s Fort Greene Park. Every week, he facilitates phone free gatherings at his house ALSO in Fort Greene. Currently, he's working on a stage show, a modern day update to the D.A.R.E. program of the 90's.
Dan spent much of his pre-pandemic NYC life time performing at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. His show, An Evening With The Trumpet Boys, enjoyed an eight month run and was called a “hilarious night of sketch comedy” by The New York Times. He also performed as an actor on Maude Night, the UCB Theatre’s premiere sketch comedy night.
Back in 2017, Dan wrote a children’s book about phone addiction and started working for the minimalist phone company Light Phone. Previously that same decade, Dan interviewed celebrities for Yahoo! Movies and performed a “Stupid Human Trick” on the Late Show With David Letterman in 2013. People still love to talk to him about those things.
